Head of Product Delivery

We are in process of significantly ramping up it’s R&D capacity and therefore now looking to recruit a senior figure as Head of Product Delivery based in Malta.

The Head of Product Delivery is a newly established role intended to provide line management for our Product Owners who work directly with engineering teams in Sweden, to establish clear and up-to-date visibility on our roadmap progress and to communicate near-term feature and content releases across the business. In other words, this is a key role with high visibility bridging Product Development and various departments within the Business.     

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead a team of highly engaged Product Owners and liaise with counterparts in the engineering organisation in Sweden to ensure swift issue resolution on project and day-to-day operational levels; 
  • Establish programme plans, governance structures and change control measures across the portfolio of projects 
  • Implement appropriate project reporting tools and communications lines/reports to keep stakeholders informed and aligned – act as the ‘go-to’ person for status on portfolio projects;
  • Work with Heads of Products, to shape and make key decisions related to project delivery;
  • Manage escalations of risk and dependencies, while always considering mitigating actions;
  • Chair regular stakeholder briefings and collect prioritisation feedback.   

SKILLS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

  • Proven team leadership experience in the Casino and gaming industry, ideally +4 years.
  • High energy personality with attention to detail and a passion for maintaining updated plans and communicating to business stakeholders both systematically and on ad hoc basis as needed. 
  • +8 years working with Project- and Portfolio Management in agile environments at senior level
  • Technical background that adds value to Product Owners as well as development teams.
  • Expert understanding of Project- and Portfolio Management tools and stakeholder reporting.
  • Solid communicator with ability to liaise with different stakeholders, maintaining optimal communication lines between all parties involved.
    Availability to travel frequently between different office locations.
