Head of UX Insight & Delivery

Our Gaming Product Office is serious about good UX and is now looking for a hands-on Head of UX Insight and Delivery based in Malta.

The ‘Delivery’ side of the UX department is based in Sweden working closely with agile teams executing the overall product roadmaps. The Head of UX will set direction for the UX Delivery teams with a solid background in managing remote teams and agile delivery processes.

The ‘Insights’ part of the department is a new initiative with the purpose of establishing intuitive visualization of core user journeys and associated UX metrics. The Head of UX is expected to take a hands-on approach in putting in place appropriate tools and reports to achieve this goal, and to adopt a view of continuous optimization that will drive the UX experience of our products into the very forefront of the industry.

Reporting directly to Chief Product Officer, the core responsibilities will be to focus on the strategic aspects of UX Delivery as well as establishing an industry leading Insights capability within our ambitious organization.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define the overall UX strategy and vision for our products;
  • Maximizing and developing the UX Team potential by bridging the different locations through common goals and shared processes.
  • Liaising with team managers on a regular basis in order to ensure optimal individual development.
  • Fully understanding the competitive landscape within the industry and providing top notch, innovative and cutting-edge solutions for our products UX Design.
  • Acting as catalyst for optimization of existing and new product optimizations by partnering up with both Product and Development teams.
  • Developing and maintaining UX work processes that enable the teams to iterate and refine competitive solutions that improve usage, satisfaction, and company revenue.
  • Having a data driven attitude - embracing A/B and usability testing to fully develop great design and interaction solutions to continually improve our user experience.
  • Having the ability to lead user research and customer journey mapping techniques, ultimately introducing these approaches within the business.

SKILLS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

  • 6+ years working within UX
  • Proven leadership experience in the field, ideally 3+ years.
  • Expert understanding of interaction, usability and UX design principles and the tools used to produce these.
  • Thorough knowledge of UX research methods (quantitative and qualitative) and how best to apply them within the development process.
  • Able to liaise with different stakeholders, maintaining optimal communication lines between all parties involved.
  • Advocating a user experience centered mindset across the company.
  • To be completely up to date with the latest industry and sector trends, ensuring we are ahead of the curve when it comes to UX innovation.
  • Able to present case studies and the thought process behind the decisions made.
  • Ability to work closely with senior stakeholders throughout the business.
  • Availability to travel frequently between different office locations.
