Retention Planning & Optimisation Manager

The Retention Planning & Optimisation Manager will be responsible for driving the in-depth analysis of Retention/CRM campaigns and turning that into actionable insights across Jackpotjoy Group’s brands and local markets. 

The successful candidate will require both a forensic analytical approach and strong casino understanding to both understand underlying performance and optimise the player engagement.

They will manage and develop a team of Retention Specialists who are responsible for drilling down into the regional and local trends and supporting the Retention Planning & Optimisation Manager.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Managing and forecasting the CRM/Retention campaigns budgets;
  • Monitoring bonus release/cash adjustments and establishing the impact on KPIs in relation to CRM/Retention campaigns as well as global/local/regional campaigns, welcome offers, tournaments, loyalty shop;
  • Measuring and analysing the results for all past and ongoing CRM/Retention activity, across key customer segments, markets and against the core KPI targets;
  • Proposing actionable insights to be used in the planning of future campaigns or corrections to ongoing campaigns as needed;
  • Develop testing strategies for all aspects of the CRM/Retention campaigns to ensure the most effective approach for the company and its products;
  • Creating and constantly updating an overview of the global and local Retention/CRM best practices per brand and value segment, based on the analysis of campaigns as well as local trends for the various markets in which we operate;
  • Proposing the overall mechanic of the campaigns to be included in each monthly CRM plan, along with the budgets allocated to them (markets to be included, dates and times of communications, channels to be used, duration of campaigns, types of mechanics)
  • Working closely together with the CRM Manager and the Data & Operations Manager to ensure that the monthly CRM plan is clear, conducive to the company reaching KPI targets and achievable based on available resources and technical limitations;
  • Performing other job duties as requested;

Essential Criteria:

  • 3 years’ experience in CRM/Retention in a data and performance driven environment (preferably multi-brand and multi-market);
  • 2 years’ experience in managing and developing a team;
  • 2 years’ Casino knowledge and experience is essential;
  • Experience across the UK, Nordic and Japanese markets a strong advantage;
  • Working knowledge of CRM tools (Optimove, Silverpop, provider back offices, etc.), reporting tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.), MS Office Suite;
  • Meticulous attention to detail and analysis skills;
  • Ability to provide actionable insights based on data.
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills;
  • Brimming with new and innovative ideas;
  • Ability to distinguish between important and less important tasks;
